Our mission
Software built for how people actually work.
Merdot was founded on a single conviction: that people, growing businesses and the institutions that serve them deserve software purpose-built for the way they actually work and not a bloated enterprise suite.
So we build the whole stack. Merdot AI gives anyone a practical assistant that shows its reasoning. Merdot Sites, Studio, Mail, Connect and Domains give a business its web presence, its design work, its email, its customer messaging and its domain from one account. Vyuha and Pinaka give teams and institutions the listening and narrative intelligence that used to require stitching together five separate tools.
Every product is engineered in-house, prefers on-device and self-hosted processing where it can, and is designed to be understood in every major Indian language, not only English.

Not a bundle of reskinned tools. One system.
One account
A domain registered with Merdot Domains points at a Merdot Site with one click, and Merdot Mail is provisioned for it in minutes. Merdot Sites includes business email through Merdot Mail. The pieces are designed to be used together.
Shared infrastructure
Merdot operates the infrastructure behind its products directly: the mail platform behind Merdot Mail, the document generation behind Merdot AI, and the continuously updated intelligence corpus behind Vyuha and Pinaka. Building each layer once means every product benefits when one improves.
Engineered in-house
Each product is built and maintained by Merdot end to end: the editors, the listening engines, the messaging console, the domain layer, not reskinned tools or thin wrappers around someone else's product.
What we believe
Three principles that shape everything we build.
Speed is not optional.
An answer, a mention or a message that arrives late is worth less than one that arrives on time. Vyuha precomputes every view so a dashboard is a read, not a wait; Merdot Connect reports delivery per message; Merdot 1.0 shows its reasoning alongside the answer instead of hiding it.
Privacy is non-negotiable.
Merdot Studio removes backgrounds and reads text on-device, so images never leave the browser. Merdot Mail is self-hosted by Merdot rather than resold. Pinaka scopes every organisation's data separately. Your data is never sold.
Precision over volume.
Drowning a team in notifications is not a feature. We surface the signal that matters: the narrative forming, the message that failed to deliver, the answer that actually helps, and keep the rest searchable but out of the way.
